About Yang Shiou
前任中華盆栽作家協會會長楊修。作品強調樹種特色，利用逆枝與忌枝象徵作品強調樹種特色，利用逆枝與忌枝象徵人生的逆境，順枝象徵人生的順境，讓每一件作品呈現出獨特的生命觀。個人創作藉由老莊與佛教的哲學思想為基礎，進而探索人類生命與植物的關係。讓盆栽作品不只是美感與空間的考量，更有其生態保育與生命教育的意義。相片中每一件作品，都是我的創作，很高興與大家分享。
中華盆栽作家協會是代表台灣盆栽技術的協會。親自創作的盆栽在本會比賽得獎的人，才可以成為會員。
As the Former President of Taiwan Bonsai Creator Association,I use inward & outward branches to stress the characteristics of specie and symbolize good time & bad time of life. On the basis of Taoism and Buddhism, my works are not just the arrangement of beauty and space but tend to perform a unique view of life and further explore the relation between man and plant. By doing so, the environmental concern and true meaning of life is revealed . I’m delight to share my Bonsai in the picture with you.
Taiwan Bonsai Creator Association is a modeling organization of advance Bonsai technique in Taiwan. Only those who personally created by award-winning Bonsai can become a member of the Association.
創作信念
Creation & Faith
盆栽不只是自然的模仿。盆栽和雕塑一樣，能表現作者的觀念、想法、情感與想像等等。使用忌枝，表現樹種特色、注重空間、樹身與樹幹有律動感。
Each bonsai species has its own unique characteristics. I sculpt the bonsai to cater to these characteristics. I view Inverse branches and regular branches represent the life of a person; they reflect the trials and tribulations of life and the good time of life respectively.
